When a finder scans a tag, the request routes through the Qwner relay to the asset's responsible person — without either side seeing the other's real number. It works the same for a school bag as it does for a fleet vehicle.
What the relay retains
Only the minimum technical data needed to route a scan: a transient session identifier. Data minimization principles are built in by default — there is no personal contact database to sell or leak.
What Qwner never stores
Owner phone numbers are not exposed to finders and are not sold for advertising. No call recordings, no payment credentials, and no user tracking data harvested from scan events.

What is the minimum order size?+
There is no hard minimum — we support rollouts from a single department (usually 10+ tags) up to multi-site programs. Bulk pricing applies as quantities grow, so larger orders unlock better per-tag rates.
What is the lead time for bulk orders?+
Standard production starts once the design and quantity are confirmed. Custom labels or branding add a short production step before dispatch. We share confirmed timelines in your quote, and delivery follows once a tracking reference is available from the carrier.
What happens if a tag is lost or damaged?+
Each tag’s QR keeps working as long as the asset’s record is active, and records are managed digitally — so a lost label can be reassigned, paused or deactivated from your account without reprinting. Damaged or defective tags are covered under our replacement policy.
Who owns the data collected through the relay?+
You do. Qwner acts as a private contact relay — finders reach the responsible person without revealing either side’s number. We do not sell, share or use owner contact data for advertising, and the relay is built on a zero-log principle for relay events.
Can we get an invoice / GST bill?+
Yes. Institutional orders include GST invoicing and purchase-order-friendly documentation. If your team needs a formal quotation first, request a bulk quote and we will prepare one.
